East Devon District Council in partnership with Honiton Town Council and Taste of the West to host high quality locally produced food and craft event on Wednesday 18 July 2018 9am-4.30pm
Around 60 of East Devon’s finest local food producers and craft artisans will be showcasing their wares at an exciting brand new event in Honiton on Wednesday 18 July 2018, from 9am to 4.30pm.
The prestigious market style event, which will take place in the heart of Honiton, is a celebration of the incredible talent and innovation that Devon’s food and craft producers have to offer.
The organisers – East Devon District Council, Honiton Town Council and Taste of the West – have hand-picked only the highest quality exhibitors to take part. Their aim is to highlight the best of the district’s outstanding food and drink producers, as well as traditional crafts people, by creating a fantastic event where people can enjoy delicious locally produced food and drink and experience the traditional craft skills of East Devon.

The spotlight will certainly be on Honiton on 18 July, as East Devon District Council, Honiton Town Council and Taste of the West collaborate on an innovative new High Street event.
Gate to Plate’ is perfectly pitched to put Honiton firmly at the heart of the 2018 food and craft calendar and boost the local economy, by attracting large numbers of new visitors to see what local food producers and talented craft artists can offer.
I’m confident that this first ‘Gate to Plate’ will be a great success and that, by the end of the day, we will be looking to set a date for ‘Gate to Plate 2019.
